HCT-Lipids works naturally to balance and maintain cholesterol and triglyceride levels in a normal healthy range. It's active ingredients, after 12 years of research and clinical trials have proven it's effectiveness in reducing, significantly, total cholesterol, LDL, and triglyceride levels.*

The Heart of the Matter: It is not news that cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in America and that the cost of treating this pandemic is enormous. The leading marker used to predict the risk of CVD is the measure of total cholesterol (TC). The American Heart Association’s Cholesterol Education Program has further recommended that individuals maintain low levels of low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) as it may be a causative factor in CVD.

Research has indicated that LDL-C has a tendency to adhere to the lumen (inside surfaces) of blood vessels causing them to narrow and increasing the likelihood of an arterial blockage, the key event in most heart attacks and strokes. Most nutritional and pharmaceutical solutions to the cholesterol problem are impacted by one of two flaws.

They are either minimally effective and do not produce a big enough change in enough people to significantly impact health, or they are too effective and cause significant side effects due to their overly strong action in the body.

Now there is an effective and gentle alternative.
HLO Healthy Lipid Optomizer works naturally to balance and maintain cholesterol and triglyceride levels in a normal healthy range. Without negative side effects. Contains (Sytrinol™ a patented, clinically-proven all natural complex of citrus bioflavonoids, tocotrienols from palm fruit) plus olive polyphenols. Encased in soft gel.

HLO Healthy Lipid Optomizer 12 years of Research and three Clinical Trials have proven its effectiveness in reducing, significantly, total cholesterol, LDL, and Triglyceride levels and specially when in our “soft gel” delivery system it is three times more bioavailable than compared to powder-filled capsules.

It Works, it’s Natural, it’s Proven.
• HCT-Lipids™works by interfering in the production & synthesis of disease-causing, bad cholesterols in the liver. Unlike other products that only attempt to block the absorption of bad cholesterol in the gastrointestinal tract.*

• HLO Healthy Lipid Optomizer polymethoxylated flavone, a sub-class of citrus bioflavonoids extracted from dried fruit and orange peels which significantly differ in their chemical makeup than most Bioflavors. "Tangeretin" and “Nobiletin" are the predominant PMF's in Lipidex, and these plant substances help to keep the cell walls of small blood vessels permeable.

• HLO Healthy Lipid Optomizer Natural Alternative to Statin Drugs without the harmful side effects.*

The Power of BioFlavonoids in Polymethoxylated Flavones: PMF's found in (Sytrinol) have been extracted from dried fruits and orange peels. Tangeretin and nobiletin are the predominant PMF's found in Sytrinol.

PMF’s & Apoprotein B Synthesis: The polymethoxylated flavone, tangeretin, has been shown to decrease aproptein B (apo B), a structural protein needed for endrogenous synthesis of LDL-C-Apo-B exist in human plasma as two isoforms, apoB-48 and apoB-100. Isoforms are proteins that have the same function, but are produced by different genes and are specific to different tissues. The most abundant form is known as large B or B-100 and constitutes the apo-B found in LDL-C synthesized in the liver. It is the major physiological ligand for the LDL-C receptor. The ligand is the protein cap that each LDL-C particle wears that allows it to bind to other molecules.

Over 90% of LDL-C particles contain apo-B-100. Its function is to salubilize the cholesterol within the LDL-C complex, which in turn increases the transport capacity of LDL-C for subsequent deposit on the arterial wall. Apo-B is therefore a convenient marker for assessing the cholesterol depositing capacity of the blood and studies have clearly indicated it as a better discriminator of angiographically documented coronary artery disease than LDL-C. By measuring apo-B levels, a more precise measurement of the LDL-C particles in the bloodstream, apo-B can be used as a truer indicator of the genetic predisposition of heart disease. These particles may damage the arteries and cause blockages. Increased levels of apo-B-100 are associated with an increased risk of coronary artery disease. (HCT-Lipids™), contains tangeretin, which has been shown in test tube studies to lower the secretion of apolipoprotein B. “HCT-Lipids works by interfering in the production & synthesis of disease-causing, bad cholesterols in the liver.”

PMF’s & Microsomal Triglycerides Transfer Proteins (MTP): The polymethoxylated flavone, tangeretin helps in more than one way to slow the production of apo-B. It inhibits the action of microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTP), which is involved in the transfer of lipids to nascent (newly created) apo-B molecules and is thought to be one of the primary mechanisms responsible for lowering the secretion of apo-B by decreasing cellular triglyceride (TG) availability.

PMF’s & Diacylglyercol Acyltransferase (DGAT): Triglycerides play an important role in the formation of apo-B. The synthesis of triglycerides is not quite as complicated as that of cholesterol; however, researchers have had difficulty discovering a way to slow their production. Tangeretin can induce suppression of diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT), the final enzyme in the pathway of TG synthesis. As triglycerides are an integral piece of apo-B, limiting their production thereby limits the production of apo-B.

“Tangeretin” • Decreases aproprotein B: A structural protein needed for the endogenous synthesis of LDL-C

• Inhibits the action of MTP: Protein needed for the synthesis of apo-B

• Induces the suppression of DGAT: Terminal step in the synthesis of cellular TG decreases synthesis of apo-B decreases synthesis of LDL-C

Decrease Cardiovascular Disease Risk:
Tocotrienols: Tocotrienols sold in dietary supplement form are relatively new compared to d-alpha-tocopherol, the most popular and clinically tested form of vitamin E. Tocotrienols have not yet gotten the same attention as d-alpha-tocopherol, but serve a very real and different physiological purpose in the body. Tocotrienols are included in the plant synthesis of vitamin E. Found as four unique compounds; they differ from the tocopherals due to their unsaturated side chains.

HMG-CoA (3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A) reductase is the rate limiting enzyme in the production of Cholesterol. Block the enzyme with some degree of efficiency and cholesterol synthesis is reduced. This is the function of the many popular statin drugs. However, the side effects of these drugs can be severe.

Tocotienols work in a similar fashion. However, they do not inhibit the enzyme from being formed. Instead they degrade the enzyme. This degradation leads to a reduction in the cholesterol synthesis cycle without the harmful side effect of the statin drugs.

Safety & Toxicity Sytrinol, PMF’s & Tocotrienols: (HCT Lipids™) was well tolerated in all clinical studies and there were no changes in BMI (body mass index), and blood pressure from baseline. Additionally, no adverse events were reported from any of the clinical trials. Animal toxicity studies analyzed body weight, food consumption and histology. The maximum tolerated dose of the supplement was 1% in the diet, without any toxic effects. This translates to > 14 g per day for a 70kg (150 lbs.) individual.

Animal toxicity studies demonstrated that the polymethoxylated flavones have no toxic effects at 1% in the diet. For tocotrienols, a phase I clinical trial was conducted that established a maximum tolerated dose of >2000 mg per day

It Works, it’s Natural, it’s Proven.* The claims made for (HCT-Lipids™) are based on human clinical trials Initial work on the ingredients demonstrated activity and this has been verified by 3 clinical trials. The studies performed to date have employed the same dose of Sytrinol, and it has been given to people who were only moderately affected with elevated cholesterol. All of the trials included a placebo control to verify the activity of the compound. Over the coarse of the trials more data has been collected as Sytrinol activity becomes better understood.
