Core Golden Rod (formerly Solidago Blend), named after the Latin for Gondenrod, is a Spagyric formulation containing botanical ingredients that have been used by herbalists for centuries to address disorders related to the kidneys and bladder. The urinary system plays a critical role in preventing toxic accumulation in the bloodstream. In particular, the kidneys filter many liters of fluid daily from the blood, removing toxins, metabolic waste and excess ions which are excreted in the urine. They also maintain proper balance between water and salts and between acids and bases; produce hormones to help regulate blood pressure and to stimulate red blood cell production in bone marrow; as well as metabolize Vitamin D into its active form.
