Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a rheumatic disorder characterized by aches and pain in joints and muscles. This pain, however, appears to have no apparent cause. Other symptoms of Fibromyalgia include chronic headaches, strange sensations in the skin, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, dizziness, anxiety, panic attacks, and TMJ. Because the immune system is often compromised in Fibromyalgia, opportunistic viral and bacterial infections are common as well. Possible causes for Fibromyalgia include: Epstein-Barr virus infection, Candidiasis (overgrowth of Candida), Lyme disease, and others.
