In 1994, Hawaiian Health Ohana discovered a way to spread pure noni beyond the tropics by creating a low-temperature drying system. Noni farmers Steve Frailey and Scott Jarvis found that this low-temperature drying system maintained the chemical make-up of the noni, while making it easily transportable. The noni grown on the Hawaiian Health Ohana farm is certified organic produce, and due to the deep commitment of the members of this family owned farm to pure, unaltered noni, it has not been fermented and there are no additives or preservatives in the Noni Fruit Leather or any Hawaiian Health Ohana product.*
