Protease 4.5 is a mixture of acid, neutral, and alkaline proteases that works to break down protein in the stomach and superior duodenal region of the small intestine. Neutral bacterial protease has an effective pH range from 5.5 to 8.5, and works synergistically with endogenous enzymes to provide protein digestion primarily in pyloric region of the small intestine. Peptidase has an effective pH range from 3.25 to 7.5, and works synergistically with endogenous enzymes to provide protein digestion throughout the entire digestive tract.
