Laundry Ball (Water Deionizer):
note: The new version is opaque, not blue.
How it Works: Dirt clings to clothes because it is ionized, which means that the dirt has a negative charge which allows it to cling to the positively charged fabric. When The Laundry Ball deionizes the water and reverses the electrical charge, the dirt can no longer hold onto the fabric. It easily moves away from the fabric in the agitated water and is rinsed out just as if you were using detergent.*
The Laundry Ball is about the size of a baseball. (please note: The new version is opaque, not blue)
The way it works: The Laundry Ball produces an effect that de-ionizes water as it bounces around your washer during the wash cycle. Dirt clings to clothes because it is ionized, which means that the dirt has a negative charge thus allowing it to cling to the positively charged fabric. When The Laundry Ball deionizes the water and reverses the electrical charge, the dirt can no longer hold onto the fabric. It easily moves away from the fabric in the agitated water and is rinsed out just as it would be if you were using detergent.*
Does Not Pollute Environment
Huge savings on laundry soap
Instructions: Put clothes in washer along with The Laundry Ball. Start machine and do laundry as you normally would. That's it!
Do not atttempt to open the ball. The Liquid should never be drained from The Laundry Ball. Resist any temptation to add laundry detergent. You will simply be wasting your money. Besides, The Laundry Ball works better and you are no longer polluting the environment with phosphates.
Results: Your clothes will be as clean, if not cleaner than if you would have used detergent. You will notice two things coming out of your clothes when you use the Laundry Ball: Dirt, and for the first few times the soap and detergent that was left there from previous washings. (Imagine, that's chemical detergent that has been deposited on your clothes and coming in contact with your skin!)
For Stains: Treat with stain remover before washing for excellent results.
For Whites: Add bleach for whiter clothes.
Cloth Diapers: Some have reported great results with the addition of a very small amount of environmental friendly, perfume and dye free sanitizers (eg. Oxyclean, Crunchy Clean)
Fabric Softener: Add if you must, but be advised it will only be necessary for the scent of the softener. The Laundry Ball does as good, if not a better job of softening than fabric softeners.
500 uses minimum! The average household washes 10 loads of laundry per week. At that rate, the Laundry Ball should last one year or more depending on use.
Tips: Do not put cloths that are extremely dirty with clothes that are normally soiled. It will spread the dirt to the normally soiled clothes. You should do them separately. This occurrence is far more common than you may imagine. Even when using detergent, this same thing may occur, however because detergent has perfumes and scents added to it, you don't notice that the dirt and odors have been redeposited throughout the clothes in your wash.
Important to Note: It is advisable to use The Laundry Ball in your machine alone the first time to insure that it is properly cleaned. Depending on the quality of your water and how clean your washing machine is, your machine may need to be cleaned before washing your first load of clothes. The Laundry Ball will clean your machine so well that some of the dirt may be deposited on your clothes if your machine is dirty.
Things you will Notice:
You will have less and less lint collecting in your lint-catcher as you continue to use The Laundry Ball.
Your towels will become fluffier as you continue to wash them with The Laundry Ball. Your clothes will become softer. Your colors will become brighter.***Free Shipping on all orders over $50 (Contiguous U.S.)
